MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ceridian Corporation, a global provider of managed human resource, employee benefits administration, tax filing and payroll outsourcing solutions, announced today it has risen to position 22 on the Global Outsourcing 100 list. Chosen by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), the Global Outsourcing 100 recognizes the world's best outsourcing service providers based on applications judged by an independent panel of judges.

“Ceridian has been included on the Global Outsourcing 100 list since its inception, which by itself is quite an achievement,” commented Kathy Marinello, Ceridian Chairman and CEO. “But to rise in ranking from the 60th position in 2008 to the 22nd position in 2009 is truly remarkable. Ceridian’s dramatic rise in ranking is just one more indicator of our growing position of leadership in the outsourcing marketplace.”

In order to be included on the 2009 Global Outsourcing 100 list, companies had to demonstrate excellence in categories such as size and growth, customer experience, depth and breadth of competencies, and management capabilities. In order to determine ranking on the list companies were judged and scored on eight different criteria, including company size, growth, global presence, customer references, company recognitions, company certifications, employee management, and executive leadership. Ceridian weighed in with the highest possible marks in four different categories, most notably employee management and executive leadership.

Because of the rigorous application and judging process employed, the Global Outsourcing 100 is an essential reference for companies seeking new and expanded relationships with the best companies in the industry. The list includes companies from around the world that provide the full spectrum of outsourcing services and contains not only today’s leaders, but tomorrow’s rising stars.

“Ceridian continues to expand its global presence and capabilities,” concludes Kathy Marinello. “This year we plan to make significant additions in the scope of our international outsourcing coverage and we look forward to continued growth throughout the international marketplace.”
