NorthgateArinso Philippines nominated as a Finalist for Best Mid-Sized BPO Company of the Year Award Category in the International ICT Awards 2009

NorthgateArinso Philippines announced it has been selected as a finalist in the International ICT Awards in the Philippines for best mid-sized business process outsourcing (BPO) company of the year award category.

The International ICT Awards held on March 26th, was jointly organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) and Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) to further position the country as the world’s BPO destination of choice.  The International ICT Awards is split into 8 categories. For the Best Mid-Sized BPO company of the year category, participation is open to companies with 500 employees or less at the end of 2008 involved in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services from the Philippines to offshore client organizations.  

All nominees go through stringent processes where each of them is judged based on:

  1. Size and growth in revenue and employees.
  2. Size, quality and diversity of international clients (internal and external).
  3. Depth and breadth of competencies as demonstrated through industry recognition, relevant certifications, and investment in the development of people, processes and technologies.
  4. Evidence of management capabilities as reflected in the experience and accomplishments of the business’s top leaders and the business’s investment in management systems that ensure outsourcing success.
