Ceridian Launches New SaaS Solution

Jan 16, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Ceridian, one of the largest providers of human resource services in the world, has launched a Software as a Service (SaaS) HR system called Ceridian HRevolution, which offers mid-market clients the transformational functionality of an ERP through a simple subscription-based service with no user licence fees.

David Woodward, chief information officer at Ceridian in the UK, said: "We believe there are two core components to successful HR. Available 24/7, 365 days of the year, HRevolution is based on a SaaS business model for applications deployment and management and has been designed to flex with organisational needs. Customers can contract for one or more of the human capital modules available according to their precise requirements. The scalability of the solution allows it to grow with the organisation.

With no user licences or forced upgrades, HRevolution breaks the traditional HR software model by eliminating traditional application management costs.

Customers pay just one subscription fee to cover multiple users for unlimited access. Ceridian also maintains and upgrades the underlying technology so customers do not have to rely on an in-house IT department. Furthermore, clients always benefit from the latest version, which is not only fully supported but also robustly secure and backed-up.

HRevolution is powered by intuitive and intelligent automation and pre-defined integral workflow based on best HR practice. Basic transactional processes via central HR are conducted more accurately, rapidly, efficiently and at lower cost.

Built on a .net platform with an SQL server, HRevolution is entirely web-based and features MS reporting services. The SaaS solution is protected by 128-bit security.
