HROA Welcomes Asia Pacific Chapter

The HROA would like to welcome the Asia Pacific Chapter to the Association. With their involvement, we can truly call ourselves and international organization!

This is an exciting time to be a member, especially for those in the Asia Pacific region, as they can both help and influence the direction of HROA in Asia Pacific, as well as gain first-hand and early insight in to the material we are starting to develop and share.

Asia Pacific Focus

The Asia Pacific Chapter will focus its efforts in three key areas over the next 12 months.

Industry Leadership – through active participation of the Board Members and Industry and Individual Members we can demonstrate active contribution and dedication to the advancement of the HRO Industry.

Peer-to-Peer Networking – One of the core benefits of membership is the opportunity for HROA members to interact with one another and with colleagues to help shape the development of the HRO industry. This opportunity extends to dialogue with members in the US and Europe as well and includes HR practitioners, providers and advisors.

Thought Leadership – The HROA’s outstanding publications and websites help members stay at the forefront of the HRO industry and learn about the latest thinking and emerging issues as they arise. The HROA also provides the opportunity for members to engage in dialog around thought leadership through the sharing of articles, report and whitepapers from HROA members. We encourage you to submit thought pieces for publication to editor@hroa.org.

Where Is the Asia Pacific Chapter Heading?

We are developing a dedicated Asia Pacific web site (www.hroa-asiapacific.com), which we will continue to cultivate and update it in the forthcoming months. A significant element of the site’s information will be available for members only, which will allow easier networking and communication among members.

We are also planning our first major conference to be held during the second quarter of 2008 in Bangkok. This will be an exciting and insightful event where we will bring industry leaders together for the first time in Asia Pacific.
