Lloyds TSB, one of Britain's leading financial services groups, has signed a new multi-million pound deal with Ceridian, one of the largest providers of human resource services in the world, for the provision of outsourced payroll services across its 98,000 staff and pensioners in the UK. The new deal follows an in-depth competitive review and extends the existing seven-year relationship with Ceridian for a further five years.
Doug Sawers, managing director of Ceridian in the UK, commented: "When we first signed this contract back in 1999 it was one of the first of its kind, leading the way in both service level and scope. To have worked with Lloyds TSB through a highly competitive re-bid process and come out again as its first choice is a reflection of the effort and expertise our people have brought to this partnership over the last seven years. We look forward to continuing to innovate and up-skill in order to deliver a market-leading service to Lloyds TSB for the next five years and beyond."
Bernard O'Driscoll, group HR services director at Lloyds TSB, said: "Lloyds TSB aims to be a great place to work, a great place to bank and a great place for shareholders. Ceridian's dual emphasis on cost-management and superlative service matches our own ambitions for HR services supporting achievement of our business goals."
As part of the new agreement, Ceridian will be supplying Lloyds TSB with a fully-managed payroll, delivered by experienced teams based in Bristol and Birmingham.
