KLM outsources operation and maintenance of the payroll and HR to ARINSO

KLM - Royal Dutch Airline N.V.- has signed a three-year agreement with Arinso People Services for the maintenance and operation of her SAP HR application. The agreement represents a total value of 3 million Euros and incorporates a clear result obligation that is documented in Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Arinso People Services will provide services on the domain of payroll, personnel administration, recruitment and selection, reports and interfaces. The in-sourcing contract results from a year-long relation between both concerns.

Roel Fiolet, Information Manager P&O of KLM: "By outsourcing the payroll-, HR- and application maintenance we will reduce and control the administrative costs. The agreement describes exactly which services Arinso will provide at what prices. A benefit is that we are relieved of resourcing and quality issues. It will make a considerable difference in efforts and management attention". In the new situation, Arinso People Services is completely responsible for the quality of the provided service. The service incorporates the resourcing of the service team and taking care of correct response of received calls within the agreed time and quality guidelines. Peter Bouten, Director of Arinso People Services: "This form of service providing fits extremely well within the strategy of Arinso People Services. We are developing rapidly to a complete HR service partner for our national and international customers."

Application Maintenance Insourcing
HRM gets more versatile and complex. The requirements put to the flexibility of HR applications and management increases greatly. Many organizations decide to partially or entirely outsource HR- and payroll processing to specialised service providers like Arinso People Services. In the Netherlands Arinso employs over 200 experienced HRM specialists who implement and manage HRM applications. A major part of this service is the Application Maintenance Insourcing. Based on fixed service level agreements (SLA's), the maintenance of the internal HR- and payroll applications are stationed at the specialists of Arinso People Services.
