Targeted for companies with 2,000 to 10,000 employees in North America, the offering is provided by Accenture HR Services, an Accenture business that provides people-management services on an outsourced basis, and utilizes the proven payroll, benefits and transaction management services and technology of long-term suppliers. Services include applicant tracking, training administration, payroll, benefits administration, HR transaction management and information services in addition to contact and case-management services and HR information technology, including portal and self-service applications.

Providing predictive pricing, improved service delivery and access to new technology -- including employee and manager self-service -- at a significant cost savings, the solution enables customers to avoid the expensive capital outlays that result from implementing highly customized enterprise-resource planning solutions.

"Our new offering for mid-sized organizations will give this very important market access to Accenture's outsourcing expertise with the promise of excellent HR service delivery," said David Clinton, president of Accenture HR Services. "With more than 20 million employees in the U.S. mid-market alone, we are confident that this solution will fill a much-needed gap in the HR outsourcing marketplace."

The offering, known as the Configurable HR Outsourcing Solution for Mid-Sized Organizations, is a natural evolution of Accenture HR Services' HR service delivery model for larger organizations.

"By allowing mid-sized organizations to outsource their end-to-end HR services to a single provider, the solution enables them to leverage the economies of scale of Accenture HR Services, ultimately streamlining their relationship management responsibilities and significantly reducing HR expenditures," said Glenn Davidson, director of the new offering.
