The Research & Publications Committee encourages the development of research that advances the state of practice in HR Transformation and oversees the HROA’s publishing activities. It's goals are to:
- Prioritize and set a research agenda
- Oversee research programs undertaken by the HROA on behalf of the membership
- Set editorial guidelines and practices and monitor publishing to ensure compliance

HROA Deliverables
The major initiative of the Research & Publications Committee which began towards the end of 2010 was a research project which included a collection of all major white papers, articles and other papers. This work in progress will be a synopsis piece which gathers all the latest research reports from various companies to see where there are differences and similarities, and will result in a unified view and summary of the HRO industry. Additionally the Committee has created a rating scale and set of criteria for each paper to be ranked according to specific guidelines. A thematic overview of all the collected published articles and column from HROA members is also in the works.
