BAE Systems agrees partnership with Alexander Mann Solutions

London, 14 January 2009 - Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS), the leading global provider of recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), has been appointed by global defence and aerospace company, BAE Systems to provide specialist permanent recruitment services in the UK.

BAE Systems is ranked as the world's third largest defence company, with a global workforce of approximately 100,000. AMS will be responsible for the recruitment of permanent staff within the UK, with an onsite team dedicated to increasing levels of direct sourcing and the development of a high-quality talent pool.

AMS was awarded the contract following a nine-month review of BAE System's future recruitment needs and based on its track record of delivering tangible results to other large corporations.

BAE Systems Group Director of Human Resources, Alastair Imrie commented, "As the company grows across all its businesses it's vital we increase our focus on specialist recruitment. The appointment of Alexander Mann Solutions is an excellent move that will underpin our future recruitment needs and enable BAE Systems to continue to access the skills base we need to support and develop our business going forward."

Steve Leach, Client Services Director for Alexander Mann Solutions adds, "BAE Systems is a large, complex business demanding a high quality recruitment solution which will deliver the best candidates into the business. We are proud to have been selected as their partner and are looking forward to helping BAE Systems achieve their growth.

About Alexander Mann Solutions
Alexander Mann Solutions was started in 1996 by Rosaleen Blair, the Veuve Clicquot 2007 Business Woman of the Year, as a venture subsidiary of the Alexander Mann Group, a recruitment firm. AMS has grown rapidly and, after disposals, now represents the entire group. A December 2007 management buy-out was backed by Graphite Capital, and the company recently acquired Capital Consulting, a leading RPO player operating in Europe and Asia Pacific.

AMS operates in 50 countries with approximately 1200 employees and expects to recruit over 50,000 staff on behalf of its clients in 2009. HRO Today magazine recently named AMS as the Global Market Leader in the Baker's Dozen, an annual listing of the top 13 RPO providers. AMS manages contractor, internal mobility, referral, graduate and talent programmes and its clients typically sign-up for multi-year contracts and outsource all of their recruitment. AMS professionals are typically embedded in client companies and work alongside the client teams, allowing them to focus on their core business. www.alexandermannsolutions.com
